Eros
One of the many Ancient Greek words for Love. Merriam-Webster defines Eros as the sum of life-preserving instincts that manifest as impulses to gratify basic needs, and to protect and preserve the body and mind. For the Greeks, Eros meant the most intense kind of Love. A fiery, passionate love that could possess and make you lose control. It was a kind of Love both respected and feared.
